Abstract

The article attempts to collect and systematize the publicistic articles of the famous critic of the Silver Age Yu.I. Aikhenvald, published in the provincial press between the February and October revolutions. It is concluded that in the interrevolutionary period, Aikhenvald acted mainly as a publicist, and the coverage of regional publications was quite broad; the critic touched upon topics characteristic of this era: the socio-political structure, the national question, the role of the intelligentsia in the transformations, etc.
