Abstract
The first part of the study presents the results of a survey conducted at Lomonosov Moscow State University’s venues in Moscow between October 6 and 8, 2023, among the audience of the NAUKA 0+ Science Festival (N=276). The questionnaire contained questions related to the Festival events’ assessment, the respondents’ attitude towards the University as a whole, and their research interests. The findings indicate that the visitors were interested in the specific format of science popularization and were highly satisfied with the event program. The Festival encourages students’ interest in research and promotes career opportunities for young people. It also serves as a platform for communication between researchers and the business community. The guests praised lectures, faculty booths and exhibitions as the most attractive formats of the Festival events. Interactive forms keep on growing in demand.
Keywords: science festival, sociological research, science popularization, science communication, audience.
