The transformation of the info-communicative structure in developed and developing countries in the twentieth century contributed to the emergence of media education, which later became an integral part of the network ecology. Living in the information age, users face certain problems such as Internet addiction, Internet bullying, Internet fraud. They are particularly relevant to the younger generations. Finding a way to help them in using Internet with no further harm to their social health is a crucial task to any government and to society in general. In this article, we examine the experience of providing cybersecurity services to the modern youth in Russia and China. Free and secured exchange of information within the digital space contributes to the overall healthy development of young people living in the information society.
