The article is prepared on the basis of the author's paper, presented at the international conference The 8th international media readings in Moscow – Mass media and communications 2016 during section "Expanding media frontiers in the XXI century: the impact of digitalization upon media environment", which was held in Moscow, November 17−18, 2016 at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University.

 

 Abstract

In this article the authors propose to study peculiarities of foreign policy communications and foreign policy mentality, using approaches of media geography, and to include new definitions related to geography of communications in the conceptual apparatus of media research in Russia. The material was prepared on the basis of the author's paper, presented at the international conference "Expanding media frontiers in the XXI century: the impact of digitalization upon media environment", which was held in Moscow, November 17−18, 2016 at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
